I am also requesting a look into our laws on sex offenders in Idaho state.  There is a sex offender in our neighborhood, and the only way we found out was out of suspicion and one neighbor looking it up!  It is ridiculous that you would have to pay for that information, just to protect our rights!  What about our children?  They need to be safe! I have two small daughters, and I am with them constantly! I think it is horrible that this information is not easily accessible  to us, or us as a community we are not being notified!  The sex offender in our neighborhood is very nice, he is just different. Good thing we go with our gut feeling, but some people don’t.  We don’t even know what he did other than it being sexual battery, and that can be several different things.  I think we have a right to know.  Why are these sexual predators being released from prison?  You do not think it is just as bad to rape and kill a child than it is to shoot and kill someone in a drive by shooting?  Our children are the future, they haven't even had a chance to make it in this world. It is up to us as parents, and the laws to protect them.  How can we protect them from sex offenders when we don’t even know who they are, and where they live? This shouldn't be a guessing game!  You can’t live your life not trusting your neighbors. What kind of life would that be?  It would be nicer to have a little insight on people, rather than be blinded because of the laws in Idaho!  What has happened to our world that we can’t even see right from wrong!  I hope in some small way this helps, it is my right to voice my opinion.
