Coeur d' Alene Press

This is in response to Sholeh Patrick's recent article in the Coeur d'Alene Press. Our representative in Idaho has asked us to write and update you on our information.

Please inform your readers that they do not have to pay for information regarding paroled sex offenders in their neighborhood if they can access a computer. Concerned persons may log onto our MASPAL (Mothers Against Sexual Predators At Large) Web site at any time and access "Find Predators" where they can access this address: http://www.criminalcheck.com

When at this site, they can simply type in their zip code for their area and access the current registrations in their area. On the MASPAL site, they can also find other updated information, as well as support for victims and their families.

If you need further information, please feel free to log onto our site located at: http://www.maspal.org

In this site, you will find some possible solutions that we have targeted under "Our Services."

You can also phone our Public Awareness Coordinator for MASPAL in Idaho at (208) 704-2117.

Thank you for the work you are doing to help inform and educate the public on these important issues!

Linda Sharp said it so well in an article she wrote, "Parents and non-parents alike are frightened by the alarming rate of abductions and sexual abuse taking place. While there is no quick and easy solution, we all need to come together and work as diligently as possible to protect our children and improve our global society."

Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. We are here to assist in any way possible to help inform, educate and help with possible solutions to this growing problem in our country.

Thank you again for your article and for keeping the public informed.

For the love of children,

Theresa Ogle
